Lost Soul

--

A soul once whole

Now lost and alone

Wandering through life,

Making a silent moan.

It searches for meaning

In a world that’s unfair

But all it finds is darkness

And a heart that’s fuel.

The flame it once carried

Is now a mere spark

And the love it once gave

Is now lost in the dark.

Oh, lost soul, where are you going?

What are you searching for?

Is it peace, is it love?

Is it something more?

But the soul remains silent

And continues to roam

Lost, yet unbroken

In a world of its own.
