Wrong Person!
Lesson learnt from hitting a wrong person.
In my high school days, I was famous for my academics and sports achievements, but at the same time pretty infamous for being talkative and rowdy.
The very extrovert you could imagine of, I could start up a chatter with anybody (teachers, lab techs, cleaners, security) at any place, I always had something to talk about. And the habit that put in trouble several times was that I would hit people when they ignored me or weren’t up for a chat, especially in boring lessons like social-science and biology.
So, on one sunny day at school during the lunch break, I went to the washroom as usual and there I saw a guy washing his face. I could only see his back and thought I recognised him because he had a shaved head.
Actually, there was this one guy (Pradeep) in my class who have had his head shaved off because his granddad had passed away (Indian Hindu ritual) and so obviously, I assumed it was him.
Now what do you expect from a naughty, chatty-ass boy to do in such a situation? Of course, go up to him and smacked the f*** outta his bald head. I could see he felt the force of my bony palm and it didn’t really go well with him. He stood there holding his head in pain.
